This agreement governs all services provided by Forge Floor Coatings including epoxy flooring, epoxy countertops, wall panels, trailers, and specialty coatings.

1. Scope of Work

 

Forge Floor Coatings agrees to provide surface preparation, coating installation, decorative finishes, and protective topcoats for selected project surfaces.

 

Services may include but are not limited to:

 

• Epoxy floor coating systems

• Garage floors

• Basement floors

• Epoxy countertops

• Shower wall panels

• Fireplace wall panels

• Trailer and food truck flooring

• Decorative wall panels

• Custom epoxy creations

 

Each project scope will be defined in the final project estimate.

2. Estimate Accuracy

 

Online estimates generated through the Forge Floor Coatings estimator tool are approximate project estimates based on information provided by the customer.

 

Final pricing may be adjusted after inspection if the following conditions are present:

 

• severe concrete damage

• excessive cracks

• moisture issues

• existing coatings

• substrate failure

• structural issues

• additional prep work required

 

Customer agrees that final price confirmation may occur before installation begins.

3. Payment Terms

 

Payment options may include:

 

• Deposit + remaining balance

• Full payment upfront

• Third-party financing

 

Standard payment structure:

 

• 25% deposit required to reserve installation date

• 25% due at project start

• Remaining balance due upon completion

 

Deposits become non-refundable once scheduling and material preparation begin.

4. Financing Terms

 

If the customer elects to use financing through a third-party lender:

 

• Forge Floor Coatings does not make credit decisions

• financing approval does not guarantee project scheduling

• funds will be released according to lender procedures

 

Customer agrees to cooperate with any lender completion verification required.

 

Failure to complete lender verification does not eliminate payment responsibility.

5. Consultation Service

 

Customers may request an on-site consultation for $99.

 

The consultation fee:

 

• covers travel and inspection time

• may be credited toward the final project if work proceeds

 

Consultation fees are non-refundable.

6. Travel Fees

 

Travel charges are calculated based on distance from Ithaca, Michigan.

 

Travel rates:

 

10–80 miles → $2 per mile

81+ miles → $2.50 per mile

 

Travel distance is calculated based on the project address provided by the customer.

7. Project Scheduling

 

Project timelines depend on:

 

• curing time

• environmental conditions

• substrate preparation

• project size and complexity

 

Typical durations:

 

Floor coatings: 1–3 days

Countertops: 2–5 days

 

Forge Floor Coatings is not responsible for delays caused by:

 

• weather

• humidity

• moisture in concrete

• substrate failure

• customer scheduling conflicts

• restricted jobsite access

8. Concrete Movement Disclaimer

 

Concrete naturally shifts and cracks over time.

 

Even after repair, cracks may reappear.

 

Forge Floor Coatings is not responsible for:

 

• future cracking

• slab movement

• settling or expansion

9. Decorative Finish Disclaimer

 

Epoxy coatings are decorative systems and may include:

 

• natural pattern variation

• swirl movement

• color variations

• minor imperfections

 

Samples and photos represent approximate appearance only.

10. Heat and Use Disclaimer

 

Epoxy surfaces are durable but not indestructible.

 

Customers must use:

 

• heat pads or trivets for hot cookware

• cutting boards

• proper cleaning products

 

Forge Floor Coatings is not responsible for:

 

• heat damage

• scratches

• staining

• chemical exposure

• impact damage

11. No Warranty

 

Due to environmental variables and substrate conditions, Forge Floor Coatings provides no warranty expressed or implied unless otherwise specified in writing.

12. Change Orders

 

Any requested project changes must be approved before work proceeds.

 

Changes may increase project cost and timeline.

13. Cancellation Policy

 

Customers may cancel within 3 business days unless:

 

• materials have been purchased

• project has been scheduled

• preparation work has begun

14. Agreement Acceptance

 

By submitting contact information, requesting estimates, scheduling consultations, or making payments through the Forge Floor Coatings website, the customer confirms they have read and agreed to this service agreement.

Under the estimator it will show:

 

 I agree to the Forge Floor Coatings Service Agreement

 

When they check it, it becomes a digital signature acceptance.

 

That is legally recognized.
